Dr. Baker has been a faculty member at VMI since 2004. Originally teaching in the Computer Science Department, he joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2010. He has taught and developed classes across the Computer Engineering curriculum, including courses in C and C++ Programming, Computer Architecture, Digital Design, Real Time Operating Systems, the Internet of Things, and Reverse Engineering.

Outside of the classroom, Dr. Baker enjoys playing the guitar, including performing with the VMI Commanders Jazz Band and Moe’s Own Jazz Combo.
